The Miles Room is on the 1st
floor overlooking the Main House and grounds and has windows that open to the
beautiful sight and sound of the Elk River's gentle shoals. The big private
balcony has 2 patio chairs thatinvite you to sit back and relax and enjoy your
respite from your everyday schedule.
The Miles is a cozy cottage room
with exposed pine beams and wood trim throughout accented with vibrant historic
red walls. The queen sized pine bed frame, writing desk and chair offer a
casual, vacation feel to your room. A multi-colored country quilt makes this
country cottage room complete. There is a modern tiled bathroom with a tub and
shower. There is an in room heating and cooling unit in the Miles.
The Maggie May is on the 1st
floor of the Carriage House and faces the Elk River and a charming iron foot
bridge circa 1899. The large private balcony with two patio chairs face the
beauty and solitude of the hills and the Elk River. The Maggie May is very
private and cozy. It is a lovely country cottage style room in soft tones of
lavender, light green and ivory. The queen bed frame, writing desk and chair is
country pine and the room has wonderful exposed pine beams and pine trim
throughout the room. There is an antique rocker that lends an old fashioned
feel to the Maggie May. The tile bathroom has a modern tub and shower There is
an in room heating and cooling unit in the Maggie May.
The Benjamin is on the 2nd
floor of the Carriage House overlooking the Main House and grounds. It also
affords a lovely view of the Elk River. The large uncovered 2nd floor balcony,
with two patio chairs, gives you a window to the open sky, great for star
gazing. The Bejamin has a great queen sleigh bed, writing desk, side chair and
easy chair. The colors are subdued and very calming and truly invite you to
rest and rejuvinate during your stay. The windows open to the wonderful sound
of the scenic Elk River's shoals which fall right in front of the Inn's
property. There is a modern tiled bathroom with a tub and shower and an in room
heating and cooling unit in the Bejamin. It also has a small TV.
The Emma Rae is on the 2nd
floor of the Carriage House and is the most private of all rooms at the Inn.
The Emma Rae has a wonderfully ornate king sized iron bed and a comfy sitting
chair. The colors are relaxing lavender, light green and ivory.
The Emma Rae with its large
uncovered 2nd story balcony and two patio chairs, faces the Elk River and
overlooks the iron foot bridge circa 1898 and the beautiful hills surrounding
the Inn property. This balcony is great for star gazing and relaxing. The tile
bathroom has a modern tub and shower There is an in room heating and cooling
