2011 was a year of accolades, honors and awards given to Cafe Cimino Country Inn in acknowledgment of the Urbanics' unique vision.
Café Cimino Country Inn received the 2011 Achievement of Excellence Award from the American Culinary Federation for consistently high standards for cuisine, service and hospitality. Only 23 Food & Beverage Properties in the United States received this award.
The 13 year growth and success of this tourism destination was given two of the state's highest honors at the WV Division of Tourism's 2011 Stars of the Industry Award Ceremony in September, 2011.
Cafe Cimino Country Inn won the coveted WV Division of Tourism's Mountain State Award which recognizes the property that stands above the rest in excellence in programming (types and number of activities for tourists) quality, distinctiveness, marketing efforts and/or attendance and impact on the state’s economy and/or image.
Chef Tim and Melody shared the award for West Virginia Tourism Professional of the Year. This award recognizes an individual who has made an outstanding and significant contribution that enriches West Virginia’s tourism industry, through outstanding job performance, leadership in the tourism industry or development and improvement of tourism facilities and activities.
Chef Tim is a 2012 Nominee for the prestigious James Beard Foundation Award

1st place in the Statewide Competition in Hotel Management.
In 2008 Cafe Cimino won the 1st Place National Employer Award
from the National Association of Technical Preparation Educators
